In the tiny town of Wagenhausen, not far from the Moselle and the famous full-filled volcanic craters (Maren) around the corner, there are 2 brand-newly built 5-person wooden holiday homes with a view of the woods. It is fantastic spotting for bird lovers, every year a few pairs of black storks breed and 3 woodpecker species, including the Black, must be done. Down in the valley near the stream Kingfisher and Dipper fly. And for those who want to go out; numerous fascinating cities and towns are easily accessible by car or motorbike: Trier, Koblenz and Cochem, to name but a few. This part of the Eifel is also a hiking paradise for nature lovers.The famous water-filled volcanic craters, the so-called Maren, are a wonderful swimming paradise in the summer. Fans of cycling and (mountan) biking can look forward to new discoveries every day in the beautiful wooded area. Near Cochem there is an 18-hole course for golf enthusiasts and from September the wine festivals start everywhere along the Moselle.

What can you expect?

Both Holzhäuser have 4 bedrooms, 1 double and 3 singles. The houses are therefore each suitable for 5 people, together 10 people. The dog is allowed but must be walked on a leash because the deer come less than 100 meters from the houses and the calves can lie there in the tall grass.There is parking space for 2 cars per house and there is the possibility of electric charging (please do not charge the car at night). The houses also offer you all the comforts of a normal house. There is a bathroom with toilet on the ground floor and a toilet on the upper floor. The kitchens are well equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, induction stove, oven and a large refrigerator, plates, cutlery. The storage room contains, among other things, the vacuum cleaner, broom and some cleaning supplies. The living room, which is equipped with WIFI, a flat screen TV, dining area and a lovely sitting area for wine and chilling.

What do you bring yourself?

The Holzhäuser are located in Wagenhausen (Kreiz Cochem Zell). All beds have single duvets and pillows. The sheets and fitted sheets for the duvets, towels, tea towels, etc. are not included in the package and you must therefore bring them yourself.Except on Sundays, for other things such as food and drink or exciting and fun trips into nature, you can make arrangements yourself with "Simply from Nature"

Other things to watch out for

The wooden houses are only rented as a whole house (so no separate rooms). In the months of July and August, Holzhäuser are only rented per week, from Friday to Friday. This is to give all our guests the opportunity to enjoy a full and pleasant week's holiday in the holiday home. NB! There are several places with the name “Wagenhausen”, also in Switzerland, so type in the address completely and make sure to enter Wagenhausen in the Kreiz Cochem Zell.

About Wagenhausen (Eifel) and surroundings
